Rainwater runoff from roof down in to flower bed

Our backyard roof does not have gutters so all the rain drips directly from roof down to the concrete patio below. We are planning on putting a raised garden bed in the concrete patio either in the drip line or away from it.
Is the rain water that flows off roof shingles sanitary enough to grow our vegetable and herbs with?
