Need help IDing this bird

Can someone ID this bird. Approx the size of an English sparrow. I have several here this year, thinking they are migrating.

Looks like a wood warbler, maybe? There's way too many warblers for me to be able to differentiate between them all, especially the yellow ones! But at least you're able to narrow it down to a warbler! Pretty little thing, isn't it?

Not a warbler...look at the beak, it's thick and heavy. Warblers have thin beaks.
It would help with ID to know your location.

Look at the sparrow family...maybe LeConte's Sparrow.

My location is northern Illinois. I believe it's a sparrow but from my books, I can't tell which sparrow it is. Definately not a year round resident. Migrating north.

    Maybe a Pine Siskin?

Looks like a female house sparrow to me.
