It's what is the co. going to do to make me whole in the end if I am not satisfied.
Read all the return policies.
Although they all have free shipping ,the return days run from 15-90.
Some charge you for that free shipping should you decide to return and you will also be responsible for the return cost.
Some have a restocking fee .
Some say you have to inspect @ time of delivery (like a driver waits for you to inspect)
Do you have a target near you ?
They seem pretty liberal with the return policies.
It's the cheapest and can be returned to any store (double check everything I say :).
Also most of the complaints seem to be that it was "difficult to assemble"....
How are you with tools ?

Thanks 4boys2, Target also had nightstands of set cheapest and do have one nearby I can return at.

I was disappointed because the reviews were all saying such harsh things, not to get it and then wayfair has so many more reviews with them glowing 4 & 5 stars. The boyfriend can assemble but not a fan, says the odds of pieces lining up well is low and this truly comes completely unassembled. Just don't want to give up on this charming bed.

If you love the bed but you are skittish about purchasing the chest, why not just buy the bed? Get a complementary chest with better ratings. It is not necessary that the chest and bed match. In fact many (me included), don't care for matching pieces.

Check the dates on the reviews and give more weight to the newer ones. Manufacturers make changes to the product. That could be part of it.

thats a good point, while most of them are old the most concerning is 3mths old on Target saying after a year, its not stood up either

"When we were putting the dresser together, some parts didn't fit
appropriately, parts were not even, knobs didn't tighten. I have only
had the dresser for a year and there are pieces of wood that have broken
off, screws coming loose. It is not a very sturdy dresser."

bbstx, I think Im going to have to do just that because I can seem to get past buying this bed. Also, was wanting a long dresser anyway so first hope to find one that will go with it.
