If this is a character home I would try the match the flooring as close as possible to existing ones.

yoboseiyo- I found the tile you were talking about: Sonoma in Palm. I think the colors would match pretty well. The bamboo is from HD too. Do you think it's best to blend with the same pattern or accent the differences with something like a herringbone pattern. Thoughts? Connie- I'm looking into the feasibility of sanding them, but they are such a cheap floor, it might be best to just pull them in the long run! Thanks for the suggestions!

I purchased "Cali" Bamboo which was at the time (4 years ago) one of the best rated Bamboo flooring s. Paid shipping from California (San Diego Area) to the Midwest. One of the local BOX stores..."LOWES" had dropped Bamboo because of the issues (Knew the flooring manager at the time). Guess what ????? Lowes is now stocking the Cali Bamboo???? Have not spoken to the new manger or gone to the other store where my previous friend is to see the response on the Cali.

Boy I'll tell y'all what. We really got screwed here in past few months. Now Level 1's apparently won't get a cash settlement, but rather only the vouchers. As if we would ever choose LL as a place to buy our flooring. Does anyone know about future damage? When I filed I only had 3 boards that had buckel. Now there are at least 20 as well as every single board is now bowed at the edges lengthwise. How can they perceive that if the 1st boards had to be pulled up after 3yrs but the next groups of them didn't pull up off the floor until 7yrs that no more will pull up in 5 more years? You know? And no mention of the excess funds at all, much less being distributed among the claimants. So what's going to happen to any excess funds that we claimants do get? The lawyers distribute it among themselves because the Judge made them take lower fees?
