Yeah, the Wiki thing was kind of what I was going for, but how to do it without it becoming a disaster? Okay, so I name one, and everyone who has that one chimes in on their experiences? Once there is sufficient response, I throw another one out there? If everyone is throwing them out there it's going to be chaos, and the responses won't link up with the variety...I could have people PM me the ones they want to know about, and we could put out one a day so there is time for the comments...Oh! Better yet, I could just start a new thread each day, for one variety? I wish there was a way to have separate threads within one big thread, like how you create new folders on your computer...hmmm, this might take some thought.

I don't have nearly as many years of experience as some growers here, but these traits are what I've observed under my conditions (your mileage may vary):

Aussie Confetti--super fast, tall, thin grower; little branching (2 or fewer branches at inflo)
Aztec Gold--fast, thick grower; little branching
Celadine--average, compact grower; good branching (3 branches with consistency)
Delightful--slow grower; not sure about branching
Dwarf Decidious--very slow, thin, very compact grower; very good branching
Edi Moragne--average, thick grower; little branching
Giant Aussie Orange--average, thin grower; good branching
Gladys O'Neal--average, thick grower; little branching
Heirloom--slow, thin, compact grower; little branching
Kimi Beauty--slow, thin, compact grower; very good branching

Makaha Sunn--fast, tall, thin grower; average branching

Maverick--average, thick, tall grower; average branching

Moragne 78--very slow, thick grower; little branching

Dave, I think I figured out a way to do this and make it easier for everyone, I got the idea from Kukiat, lol....posting a new thread.

I think you guys have a great idea here I am new to this forum and fairly new to plumariasI have 8 plants now and IAM starting some Kaleinani and,confetti seedsI do realize they are not true to the parent but what about the growing characteristics. does anyone know the growing characteristics of these plumerias. Lisa, this is a great thread because once you get a few "mooses" (those generic plumerias sold by nurseries because they're easy growers, yet need 6 feet of growth between each inflo), you decide that an attractive tree form is important to you! And it's hard to find pics of grown trees when you're doing research.

I just recently got Miami rose, carmin, and lei rainbow can you give me some info on the Carmen and lei rainbowI got them from a grower here in the San Francisco Bay Area he has a large farm in Hawaii and is coming out with some special rooted specimens in June this month.so I need to get a few more from him this weekend this is so addicting

Eegads--LOL---this would take me forever to go through all these. During our main business season it is hard to find to time to go through all the photos and comment on growth habit. LOL This is something better for winter in the down season when I have more time on my hands. Love to help then. ;-)

Lol, you don't have to go through all that, it would be on the other thread, not this one. I started a new one because as soon as someone comments, you can't edit the thread. Just name of tree and photo of tree, that's all we need, people can google pictures of the blooms. And I can wait till winter, that would be awesome, thank you so much! =)
