I don't have this one, but when the hosta is small, it sure makes the flowers look so large. Nice that this one is fragrant.

I don't have that one either, Jo. Sure is a cutie. My BME is still in bud form too but 'Lucky Mouse' , a recent acquisition, has bloomed. IF I'm correct, you just got GSME this year, didn't you? Could it have gotten a head start in the nursery? Just a thought.

Yes, Irawon, you are correct as it sure did get a head start...I've only had it since May. :-). It'll be quite the show when BME blooms. Another day, or two, three....lol next year it will be more of an even race, lol.

Sandy, I don't think it is recognized as being a scented hosta....so it is exciting when we discover scent....however fleeting. :)

Beautiful plant! Mine hasn't bloomed yet, but since I planted it in the ground, I'm trying to figure out how I'm supposed to get down low enough to be able to smell it when it does bloom! More importantly, who is going to help me get back up???

Lol, pugm0ther! If I can't reach, I pluck the bloom, that's how determined I am to smell it!

I like it, Jo. It's really pretty, but it also looks solid and rugged. Love the flowers, too. Looking forward to seeing pics as it grows up.
