Agree with PFF, take your time to remove, be patient. You can save it if you really want. depending on how they have been installed, remember not everyone uses glue, I run across vanity tops, counter tops, and butcher blocks, that are installed using caulk, or a variety of elastic type fillers.........many times as shocked as most. Once you get it free, work on the top from the bottom on a work bench and free up the remaining portion of base. try a Coping saw or a thin long saw blade type of saw. I am not sure I would really use a sawzall. However, I have used them in the past to free up vanity tops after they have been removed.

5' is a decent size (is there another place in the bathroom for make-up vanity?) but I wouldn't squish 2 sinks in there. be better to do a custom, floating vanity with a larger type of sink (off set) . this way you still get countertop room. I like this type of vanity set up, even though it has two sinks. Oh, and for maximum counter space, go with a wall mount faucet. this sink is a little small, but it's made to go from wall to wall. If you put in a free standing vanity w/no filler, then you have a nightmare to clean. This just looks better, or like the next one: If you did something built in like this, wall mount faucet, 18" sink, sconces, I don't think anyone would not buy the house because it didn't have two sinks! I mean, how many times are people going to brush their teeth at the same time?

Bigger vanity. There has to be space for towels in the hall or bedroom Or even on the back of the door or above the toilet. There is no other space for a vanity. Small vanities are a stresser. Big ones are relaxing.
