OT: How do you pass the time

Okay... since not a lot going on here today...you can only hit refresh so many times before Google and I.E. return "Hey! Stop hitting that dadgum refresh button!"

So to keep from going stir crazy....I am passing my time looking at more awesome photos and trying different selections on the photo selector. Whether it fits my needs or not... it helps to daydream about the kitchen I will have soon.

That, and listening to Glen Miller and Dean Martin stations on Pandora.. yea, I love old movies and old music :P sue me.. heh

What do you do to keep from going stir crazy waiting for your remodel etc?

I've been in a mood for Ella Fitzgerald. It's a good music day :)

I've been stuck in the house all weekend (too much smoke to go outside with fires in the area) so I've been sorting stuff and getting organized. Right now, I'm working....so better get back to it! LOL

I am listening to Nat King Cole and before that was Ella and Louis Armstrong.

Helps make the afternoon go by faster.

    Y'all need jobs?

Nope.. I am working on 2 SQL servers, refreshing the page, responding to emails about my move this weekend, and also watching for deer on the live cameras at my ranch.

But if you need some windows cleaned.. and pay enough.. I might be inclined to decline!

    lol ;)

Dishes, laundry, swimming in the pool (if the rain would stop ruining my temps!!!!) or browsing other sites. Primarily Reddit.

You might try it. I've posted a few projects I found on http://Reddit.com/r/DIY

It's fun to look at other projects.

I could be wrong.. but either way, it was cool ;)

Steph- I work from home. Just decided to finally take lunch....it's been a typical Monday! LOL

As for great music....how about the theme from Laura? I started watching this last night and will probably finish it tonight. I've seen it lots of times, but I love this movie.

Film Noir at its best :)

Taking lunch now @ 5 doesn't leave me much time to be stir crazy from inactivity. Crazy from a typical Monday morning fix the issues, sure. BTW, the air was out today and they're still trying to fix it. 98 degrees. I'm going home and take a cold tub until I turn into a prune. Baby powder is my friend.

I forgot to eat lunch today. This week, we are trying to clear out the contents of the freezer/fridge as we close on Friday on the sale of this house. So, I grabbed a couple sausage links, threw in beans, bbq sauce, picante sauce because I did not want to waste it.. and.. rice.. lol..

Trying not to cook till we get moved :P

Joseph - OMG! I have never seen that. The drummer gave me shivers and the pianists hands are beautiful. Seven minutes of my life I didn't mind giving up. If you guys haven't seen it check it out.

blfenton- if you or anyone else hasn't seen it, here is the original, for comparison. Those kids really did an incredible cover.
