I'd say no.

Check what fronts are in stock at your local IKEA, and go with whatever you like most. They're so busy with their new line that there are back-orders on some of the fronts, limiting availability.

I wouldn't go with ss everywhere - yes, it's handsome and hygienic, but it does show every smudge and fingerprint. Maybe use a combination of ss and a plain front for balance?

I found that IKEA cabinets do not have every cabinet size available with stainless steel fronts, so this may not be an option for your layout. I used white cabinets for my base cabinets and stainless steel with frosted glass fronts for upper cabinets.

Patricia, you are the one who inspired me for that! )) Can you please tell me red ones are also from IKEA? and how was that wood countertop (I wanted this combo exactly) Our house style can be anything, we got an old bungalow but in the very prestige neighbourhood , for a price good enough to put quite a lot for renos , so I decided to go wild with what we can do there )) thanks to all for advise!

The red ones were but as far as i can figure no longer available I loved my butcher block counter a friend bought out our house and she also thinks they are great maybe the yellow would be fun the house you see

Patricia's previous kitchen was so nice, I might change my vote to yes about stainless.

Unless you have small children that will put their fingerprints all over them on a daily basis go for it. If that is the look you love - do it - or else you will always have regrets.

I would not recommend all stainless, but if you like it then go for it.
