No, you wouldn't. You really wouldn't.

You're going to need to give a lot more information to get specific suggestions:

1. What is your budget?

2. What finish? Stainless?

3. What types of cooking do you do the most? Are you more of an oven cook or burner cook? Do you want to use a griddle or do indoor grilling? Do you wok? Can?

4. Are you willing to deal with a powerful hood and the associated complications, like makeup air?

5. Are your pans ferromagnetic (induction compatible) and if not, would you be open to replacing them with ones that are?

6. How important is the visual feedback of a gas flame?

7. How important is ease of cleaning?

8. Do you have kids? Are you concerned about safety?

9. Controls. Do you need knobs, or would touchpads be OK?

I'm sure I missed a bunch of important ones but that should be a good start.

Induction is the opposite of what you have.

Viking is not a quality name compared to some of the other induction choices.
