We purchased a 1970's country home with an existing white metal roof & white siding. We would like to replace it all, but will only be able to do the siding/gutters for now (roof will have to stay for the indefinite future.) I have replaced old white shutters with black, as new lighting fixtures are black and new front door has black wrought iron accent.

The brick is a mix of mostly taupe/tan, with terra cotta accent. New windows are taupe/clay. Photos attached.

Ideally, I desired to replace the white roof with tan/taupe with similar color or even white for the siding, but since we are stuck with the white roof for some time, does that mean the best option for the siding will be white? All suggestions welcomed!
