Comments (4)Hot soapy water followed by slapping on wet paper towels as if they were new wallpaper and covering the whole shebang with Saran Wrap or plastic sheeting. Wait a few minutes or an hour, then scrape or use a stiff bristle brush. Failing that, try sanding it off with an electric palm sander when it is dry. Some glues are not water soluble, especially those sometimes used to put up Mylar "paper" or other non-cellulose based wallpapers. Some professionals use paint remover for those glues, but I don't know what kind....See MoreHelp! Need advice on cleaning grease off kitchen cabinets
Comments (5)To be clear, the go-to product for cleaning/degreasing materials before applying 'new' finish = TSP (trisodium phosphate). It is used by professionals to clean up walls or hardwoods or cabinets before putting down a new finish/layer of paint. It can be used diluted to get every day grease off of the same products. 10:1 TSP:water ratio works quickly with out damage. Always test a small spot somewhere out of the way to make sure you won't do more harm than good....See MoreCracking grout/silicon along walls in kitchen where tile back splash m
Comments (23)I see you have spending your time today leisurely surfing the net on youtube. lucky devil! wish I had time to kick back but have been staying super busy with a tile installation project. Have to get this 700 sft wood look tile job done in a timely manner for one of my customers. Will be posting pics when I come up for air and find enough time to post to my blog page, prolly this weekend.. I still don't understand why you chose to delete all those posts (6 or 7 posts deleted on your side, 0 posts deleted by me, I'm comfortable with who I am and will not manipulate this forum out of fairness to the community. I am transparent and stand by all my comments. ) in this thread as it really showed your personality and what you are all about. Well, maybe you realized that attacking and accusing someone on false accusations without any documentation or proof to support your theory has finally settled in. Maybe you felt that removing those posts were suggesting that you may have spoke too soon. Maybe you can chime in on the change of heart. I look forward to the new "you". Epoxy Bond is amazing for sure but don't just take my word for it, read the 75 Amazon Epoxy Bond Reviews and see for yourself! Is your website a blog? I came across it over the weekend and noticed the template date was 2004 and was not mobile friendly. Did you know that Google is actually discounting your website on multiple levels. See for yourself with Dev Tools. Have you considered converting your blog into a responsive website (google search that...basically means mobile friendly which is Huge) ? I also didn't see any "Contact Us" or "About Us" pages which can gain the customer's trust and potentially increase your workload. I know it's a lot just starting out but I love to share valuable info to the public. oh and yes, I love to unwind and have fun too. I love that soundtrack "Stayin Alive". such a great time back in the late 70's....See MoreRock wall.... Paint it, remove it, or leave it how it is?
Comments (28)Thank you all so much for your input! I think we will live with it for a month as is and then either paint it or remove it! The furniture pictured is from the previous owners so I will definitely keep it less cluttered. We are going to be installing wood floors or tile "wood" floor in a lighter color or the same color as the beams above. We will be painting the rest of the walls white (I think). We get the keys today so I'll have to go in to see what will look good in the space. I'll keep you all posted! Thanks again. This Houzz site is so cool!...See Moreasiyamadha
