How did you attach the shingles?

Just wondering how you attached the shingles and the metal siding, since the studs are exposed inside? What are the shingles and metal siding attached to?

There was an extra layer of OSB on the outside of the sheathing. Shingles were nailed in place and the end of the nail was hidden.

Thanks so much for this helpful and speedy reply. So the insulation is between a layer of one-side good plywood and one layer of OSB. Ingenious.
