I would move the vase down that you already have an put a matching one on the other side. Your art needs to come down a little. Should be 1/3 above eye level and 2/3 below.

Your room is lovely and artwork is as well. I think the settee is not working there and if you added a console table, it would make the art feel more complete and complimented and then you wouldn't need anything else. Could the settee go under the window, in your living room or at the end of your bed for example?

If you want to highlight the art, then you need light above the painting.
You didn't ask, but from the photo, the bench seems to be too small for that area and for the painting. You have a beautiful room
