Tip of the Week: Coffer
It was very popular during the late 80s and 90s to have a fluorescent light box over the island in the kitchen.

Light boxes normally have an 8 – 10” recess under the plastic panels. We call it a coffer.

This coffer has been lined with natural walnut and stained in a dark walnut.

Recessed light has been installed to replace the fluorescent light box tubes to create sufficient light for the kitchen.
