We have a similar set up. The wall is tall so that on the vanity side there is a towel ring and on the side in the shower is the niche, so the bottles are not viewable from the bathroom.

@dekeoboe: Oh, that sounds like a nice set up. We're going to put the niche on the small back wall, the wall directly behind the shower system, so the long wide wall will have nothing but accent tiles. Our wall will also have an outlet like the one in the picture. Thanks.

@Ann. Hi! I'm doing the same set up - vanity , 1/2 wall, shower. . . how did it end up looking for you? My 1/2 wall is about 48"....they are just drywalling it today

Hi maryhay - it turned out very well. I just measured our 1/2 wall for you. From the very top of the half wall, including the quartz used on the top of the ledge, to the bottom of our floor tiles is 41". 48" in total would have been too tall for us.
