I am planning to go for new style shutters (half wood half faux) for mu home. Are they dead investment? I will really appreciate any help or advice I can get.
Wood ends up getting weathered over time and doesn't hold up. I suggest in investing the vinyl shutters, they will most likely last a life time You may need to repaint them after 15 years, but everything should be painted after that long.
Wood is prettier than plastic. But we can't give much advice without a photo.
