Beth I hope they can find it, I spoke with the postmaster yesterday and I had the wrong tracking number but when Annie gave me the corrected one I called the postmaster back and she said that it had been received it looked like by our post office. She is going to try to track it back to who was working that day and see what happened. I hope to know something Monday. I went to the post office today to see if by chance they found it and put a slip in my box but nothing was there. Have you received mine ??

No, not this morning though I'm not sure they sort everything on the weekends.

This is frustrating. I didn't make an extra copy cause it's all stuff I have and use. I can make another one. Sorry for the mix up whatever has happened.

Mine was recipes from the net but with a Charlie brown theme. If you don't get mine I will make and send another out but lets wait until Monday to see if they say.

Some of you know I just moved this week, it has been a lot of drama including son's laptop fritzing out and needing to be replaced. Our beautiful cat wanted us to stop moving and watch her have her kittens. How do you tell a cat, "we are all sleeping somewhere new tonight" ? At the new place, we put her right in the nest, surrounded by our bedding and here they come 12:43 am, 1:11 am, 3:03am and 6:06am. Thriving and with sugar frosted ears, they are perfect and think of Christmas photo ops. Mary E.

Minor but the day after I moved, I went back for the mail. Between the front doors were two packages missdelivered from Amazon Prime aimed at a neighbor's house a block east. They could have been sitting there forever lost, if I had moved further away. Mary E.

Oh the mail could be such a great help. But then it gets dumped somewhere . But I just had to cancel a check sent on the 3rd. Ii am just glad I didnt send gift cards this time. But it hasnt come back to me. so it is sitting somewhere in Fla. or Ohio. I know I have had panic attacks more then once about a package sent out. Hope everyone has a great day. Susan

Good evening one and all! First of all, thank you all for the birthday wishes! This has been probable the best birthday ever! It started with the flight attendant giving me a bottle of wine to start my celebration, a box of cookies from the hotel, and mint plants that were given to me at the farmers market but best of all, my mom, the sneak, arranged to have my husband meet me here for yesterday and most of today. There's been good food and lots of sight seeing so my heart is filled with joy!

Well, Donald's on his way back to Phoenix and Mom is worn out (I think the zoo did her in) so with a few free minutes, November's trade has been posted.

Friends, I just received one of those calls. One of my brothers, estranged from his whole family ( even his adult children that keep reaching out to him) has had a leg amputated within this last couple of weeks. somehow his kids know. Prayers needed for family, thanks. I love him and his birthday is around Thanksgiving. Mary E.

Annie- I totally agree with you, there are ladies who join and you never hear from them the whole month. So many beautiful ladies/gent in these swaps who you could bond with. We can laugh, cry and pray for one another and believe me it helps to know someone cares. Not sending your end of a swap and no communication is unheard of. I guess if no one ever says anything they think oh well what the heck.

I still haven't received anything from you the post office said that it hasn't found it either. They are going to check with the people that have the 1927 box as sometimes the 1 is mistaken for a 7 so I am still looking for it.

Beth If you will send me your correct address, I will get another cookbook made and send it out don't know what else to do at this point! Have you checked at this address to see if it is there ? Has someone moved in to that address since you moved?? Going to mail some more swap stuff off will check with postmaster to see if there is any luck of it being returned or if they have found yours.

I will redo yours but doubt that I can remember what specific notes I put along with the different recipes. hey, the new one might be even better than the first. we'll call the first one the "Rough Draft".

My adorable and inspiring Great Pumpkin Cookbook from Ruth Arrived yesterday with the mail forwarded from AZ. It's a winner even if it took the scenic route and arrived after the contest ended.. I love Pumpkin in almost any fashion (NO Pumpkin Spice Lattes for me) and have a good supply of nice winter squash.

Look forward to trying several of these recipes.

Again sorry about all the confusion over addresses and deliveries but All's well that ends well. I am redoing and expanding your book a bit should get it done and mailed by the end of the week

Resent but not the same thing as the first time..... po predicts Monday delivery. Tammy I still owe you something special. Most likely after the Holidays. I think we all need a little TLC in Jan and Feb so that is my goal

So excited! I got Beth's cookbook with two other recipe type magazines. I so wish I had got the first one since it had your grandmothers Dutch recipes. We have some neighbors who are from holland and I love her cooking. But this cookbook I received I found interesting too! This one Beth writes is a copy of her Dad's original booklet from the MO extension service from 1960. Thank you again Beth- Love,love old memorabilia like this and I can't wait to try some of these.

I still use that basic mix and so do my daughters and several friends.. Do try the fried pies....... the ladies here sell them at the farmers market for $2.50 each. I usually bake rather than fry them but they are so good, quick and easy
