    If marble isn't in the budget or not practical, quartz has great options. Check out Silestone's Lyra, Lagoon and 1 other whose name is escaping me at the moment.

    Hi Grace, funnily enough I did choose Silestone not due to price, rather practicality - it is an enormous success - we host so many functions and dinner parties and i never worry about food or wine, acid etc... it is wonderful and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants an entertaining kitchen.
