Our natural stone fabricator mitred the edges and corners to provide a seamless look and create the appearance of a very thick piece of stone.

How thick is the edge? Is that 2 inches?

The island counterop has a 3" apron, mitred at the front and bottom edge, with a solid marble return under the island overhangs.
