Question About Bosch Dishwashers with AquaStop - SHX68T55UC

Hi all, I am using this dishwasher in a remodel and it will be positioned a bit away from the sink base, possibly requiring an extension of the drain and water supply hoses. The specs for the DW specifically refer to an accessory titled "Dishwasher Supply and Drainage Hose Extension". However, when I check the part number, it's only the drain hose. So, I need to buy a supply extension separately, which is fine. I called Bosch customer support and am confused.

First, the product specs list a length for the "inlet hose". When I suggested that this is the water supply hose, the lady on the phone told me that this is an internal part for the DW. I replied that if it was an internal part, why would we care about the length. She insisted it was an internal part. She told me that with all of their DWs, one must purchase the water supply at a hardware store. It's not included. After looking at diagrams, installation, etc., I see that the DW has a preinstalled inlet hose that is outside of the DW.

Then I told her that there is an extension kit for other models that consists of "AquaStop and Drain Hose Extensions". In the description, it refers to the kit as water supply and drain hoses. So if my DW has AquaStop, shouldn't I have a special AquaStop supply hose? She said no, any old water supply would be fine. I suggested that this would possibly compromise the technology that I wanted in my DW. On the web site, I found a part described as Inlet Hose for AquaStop Extension which does not reference any particular model. I'm thinking that this should be what I need.

Sadly, the appliance stores don't always know this info and I'd like to be prepared when I order my DW.

If I'm all wet, please let me know. Otherwise, if you have used a DW with AquaStop and can advise me, I'd very much appreciate it. Thank you.
