Need new windows, do I do white wood or oak??

We recently bought a cape cod style home. It was built 20 years ago and everything is okay. A lot of the windows are bad and need replaced. My question is do I put oak, what is there now, or replace with white wood? I really want to incorporate white in the house, but there are some windows and doors that won't be replaced,

My house has white trim with wood cabinets and doors. I like the brightness of the white combined with the warmth of wood. My original baseboards and window casings were a dark stained pine. I painted them white and painted the windows too. Then we replaced the windows and got white windows. You can paint those windows that are not replaced. I used two coats of Zinsser 123 primer and 2 coats of a latex acrylic enamel. The mixing of white with wood looks a little better with paneled doors rather than hollow core doors. These pics show how well wood and white can work together.
