Since there is a marble you can always use the vestibule floor as a guide to find a good color. IMHO I would not change the yellow to gray because in a rainy day the room looks really dull.

    Hello

I would go with a gray that matches your marble. Keep in mind you are going to have a lot of gray -Might be gloomy. If you want to get rid of the yellow possibly do a white / off white then do an accent wall or area in the gray.

Some Benjamin Moore colors you should look at are :

Simply White ( color of the year )
    San Antonio Gray
    Horizon
    Smoke Embers
Stonington Gray and as Beverly suggested Revere Pewter.

I love Vancouver Day from C2 but you will need to test drive some grays as they often have undertones that don’t work in your space. I am not sure that I would do a real gray but better a shade of greige your space looks quite traditional I would get a sample of Rvere Pewter it just might be the best .

You have a little challenge here..having lived in 2 houses a lot like yours for 25 years I am still happy with my yellow...photos never portray color perfectly ....so the advice to try sample swatches ...nice big ones in separate locations..is vital...since color is really a field of it's own you may find some leads for a pro ....color specialist...at your local high-end paint store...I always had the best results having custom paint formulas and know that a home with all those Windows will affect the color at different times of day...another suggestion that will soften the look is to get gorgeous sheers to match your new walls to install at edges of Windows (not really to be closed) and still admit all the light and views

    Hi!

I llove Revere Pewter if you want a beige with gray undertone or a soft gray (light and airy) Stonington grey HC-170 or Silver chain if you want a soft true gray, (all are from Benjamin Moore) remember to add lots of color in the accessories (throw pillows, etc) so the gray doesn't feel too cold, that's the secret... Have fun and update me on your final selection!

    Thanks,

    Maru

You might want to try SW Repose Gray. It will look very good with your marble and is a very nice gray with the more yellow tones in your floor. It is light enough to not be gloomy !
