Length of Reach In Closet along a long wall

I have a 15' wide wall that I wish to put the reach in closet against. The entrance door to the bedroom opens onto the wall (imagine you would walk into the closet if you kept going straight)
My question is how wide should I make it. I'm afraid a seven foot closet would look skimpy on such a long wall. I also wouldn't mind the extra storage space but its not critical.
My choices are 7 or 8 ft with a 2'6" wide double doors to match the entry door or put in a longer closet to fill up the wall. say 10'-11' wide.

Also what is the best way to put doors on a 20' wide closet?

Check out the Pax system from Ikea it would work very well and with the sliding doors they take up no space for door swing

With a very long closet, you can use a number of sets of doors, either bifold or french. Or you can divide it into two doorways, with lesser-used things in the space between. This is not an unsolved problem.

How much of your wall to use depends a bit on what else you would put on the wall, how the room is laid out, etc. Sometimes it's nice to have some wall space for a dresser or something, but if you have plenty of space, then there's no reason to chop it up.
