I'll bump this up because I'm not sure if they are sempervivums or echeverias for a start, Sarah, but the picture will help.

Thank you all! Not too worried about the propagation. Do the plants look like they'll live? They're definitely funky from being stuck in a corner away from the window but I have re-homed them closer to sunlight.

No problem! Three of them look quite alright, the last spindly one not so sure.

Good call with bringing them much closer to sunlight - these types need as much as they can get. Under good light the plants will be compact and leaves close/pointed upwards together.

If light is not ideal, the leaves will grow more 'open' and facing downward, in attempt to collect more light in their given location. As long as they don't start stretching like beanstalks due to lack of light, I don't think it's a major issue.

All depends how you want your plant to look and the best conditions you can give them. =)

Side note: In Canada it's cold and mine should technically be outside. However, my plant was a gift and I was afraid it wouldn't survive and am growing it under lights indoors instead.

They need more light - as Kevin (eww...) mentioned already. And they really grow better outdoors, and over-winter well under the snow. They are very hardy succulents. Sure you could keep them indoors, but they will be 'sparse' looking. Kevin's is good & healthy looking, but he supplies lots of light (not sure about fertilizing). Even the few succulents in the back are etiolated (stretched) because they are not receiving enough light. Is it possible to get some supplemental lighting?
