1940s bathroom!

I've chosen to embrace the 1940s peach and black bathroom. I went back and forth about painting the tile, but once it was painted it would be very difficult to return to the original. The tile work, as is, is very well done and remains in great condition for the age of the home. I would like to wallpaper the bathroom with this or something similar http://www.lowes.com/pd_119769-12013-LW1341333_1z10wbpZ1z138n4__?productId=3306966&pl=1. Seeking advice on your:

1. Thoughts on the bathroom as a whole?

2. Thoughts on the wallpaper design above?

3. Advice on where to apply the wallpaper? I can't decide if I should only apply it on the three walls until right below the arch way, on each wall and the archway (up to ceiling), or continue the wallpaper inside the shower. My concern with the third option is it may, over time, bubble or start to peel because of shower steam.

Hope this makes sense. AND I apologize for the photos, as I was trying to capture the whole bathroom in one-fell swoop. ;) Thanks in advance for your guidance!

Suzanne
