A lot can depend on where you are located and your design style. The mix is a great way to incorporate both elements, but committing to fully traditional or fully modern can really make a statement as well!

I think 99% of us live in some sort of "transitional" style. True one-or-the-other are mostly reserved for nice photos of houses rarely occupied. JMHO

As soon as I looked at the photos I picked the transitional for the look. That is the home I would pick to buy. Both looks great together. Depends on the clients liking!
