quarter round tile on tile at baseboard?

My contractor has left a too-large grout line between my tiled bathroom floor and walls with no trim. Can I put quarterround on top of the grout/ tile to finish off the trim? How should it be attached? Does anyone have another suggestion? The gap really bothers me. THANKS!

Hope that's not a grout line.Should be caulked. You could remove it and trim it out using a silicone adhesive.

Use the matching bullnose / cap if available. Install over the face of existing wall tile. As mentioned above be sure to use silicone caulk at change in plane. A high quality modified thinset will bond it.

What CT said plus - this can be done but takes a fair amount of skill. Have lots of patience and denatured alcohol ready.
