I am trying to buy window shades for our new home, so I have a lot of windows to do. I have looked at the Hunter Douglas Nantucket 3" shades. I wouldn't be raising them up and down, but would like to be able to tilt them for light vs privacy. We will be staying in this house for a while, so I want to get good quality. I understand Hunter Douglas stands behind their product for a long time, if there are any problems in the future.
Then I discovered Hunter Douglas bought Comfortex, and that the Shangri-La is a cheaper alternative to the Nantucket. Can someone tell me what the difference is? Fabric? Laying flat? Warranty? I'd like to save money, but not if there's a substantial quality difference. Any experience with either? Thanks so much for any guidance!!!
