I love the amber one, it goes well with all the other rooms.

Beware that Bee's Wax can look very different according to the way the room faces. I loved it so much in my east-facing kitchen that I tried it in my west-facing living room. With the yellow afternoon sun, the living room looked like "highlighter yellow." I repainted the living room to another color. Very pretty color in the right room, though!

Interestingly, many of the paint colors in my house are featured in the BHG article! Sassy Green in the LR and MBR, teal in the sewing room, pale green in one guest room and a warm yellow for the other bedroom!

I do like the amber color, I think that is what we are aiming for.

I'd start with the trim, including the small crown, and paint it a white. Base, windows, everything. This will also make the ceiling feel higher.

You might want to see if someone here skilled in Photoshop can put the Ambitious Amber on one of the walls for you. Wish I could help, but it's not one of my skills!

Bad weather today, so I've got DH working on his photoshop skills. I do like this color, but he is still leaning toward something darker/more orange/brown. I'd love more suggestions!
