Offset window in kitchen nook, please help!

Our brand new house has a offset window in the kitchen nook that is meant for a kitchen table. As you can see the chandelier is aligned to be in the center of the ceiling mouldings. The mouldings ultimately define the symmetry of the room.....then there is this window that is complete off center from the chandalier and the mouldings.

So i could remove the chandelier and reposition it but what do I do about the window? Would a round table work? We tried a rectangle table but it looks awful......on top of all that there is a little table nook on the left for a small computer/workspace so you want to keep some distance from the table on that side too.

i really don't understand how this can happen in a brand new house, is there a reason for this or just a stupid mistake?
