This wood was actually the original exterior sheathing to the home when it was built Circa 1900. It was uncovered during construction under a layer of clapboard and plastic siding on top of that. It is a very weathered, and unique hemlock.

Island counter top is Bianca Pearla quartzite. The perimeter counter top is a very dark, honed black soapstone. Thank you for your interest in this kitchen design.
