Short evergreen

Whats the name of the short evergreen on either side of the door? Do they stay that short?

The short evergreen is a Dwarf Alberta Spruce, Picea glauca 'Conica', which is very slow growing, only 2" a year, and I've seen 20-year old shrubs that are only 6' high. Protect them from winter winds and sun or they tend to get winter burn.
