Hello, I have been struggling with the exterior colors of our new home. The builders have been waiting on me for over 3 months to pick something (work is moving a lot faster on the inside).

There will be cedar posts on the front porch (there are temp 2x4) and the front door will be knotty alder with a very natural stain (not installed yet). The windows are black. And the roof is more grey than brown. I am wanting to put cedar shutters on the windows to match the cedar front porch posts.

We are planning on putting stone on the face of the turret and the face of the opposite exterior wall with the 2 separated windows and a border of stone around the rest of the front that sits just below the window sill. The rest will be siding - possibly a board and batten style in the 2 peaks and the little rectangle above the front porch.

I am open to anyone willing to mock up a design or give their input. Thank you so much!
