Double wall oven or combo microwave/oven - I already have an oven

So I have a gas range/oven combo (the one that slides in). I want to get an additional oven but not sure if I should get a double wall oven or a wall/microwave oven combo?

I also have a range/microwave oven.

eventually we would upgrade our gas range and get rid of the hooded microwave - do a regular vent. We could always get a drawer microwave as well (if we do the double oven). We like to entertain - but not huge entertainers. My husband enjoys cooking. We do not back that much but we might!

I am glad you are getting rid of the over the range microwave at some point. A true vent does a much better job and it will open up your cooking space plus add a pretty feature to your kitchen. A double wall oven would give you three ovens. That is a lot, but if you would use them that is fine. My personal preference would be an oven with a microwave. I saw this combination on many Parade Homes and loved the way the microwave was at a good height, especially for someone a bit short as I am. No reaching up or bending way down to assess whether something is done. If you don't use your microwave often, then this would not be an issue.

Thank you. We are trying to save money by keeping what we have until it breaks down. The current configuration of the house is attached. I'm thinking of putting the oven where it currently says closet. Is that weird?

This is a last minute add on but just wanted to see what people thought.

i cook a lot and have a 30" wall oven, and a stacked 27" wall oven + microwave above it. i've never needed more than that but frequently use all 3 at once.

not cheap, but I just got a steamer/convection oven combo and I love!!!!! it. I can stick a probe it, set it for chicken and out comes perfect, moist, roasted chicken. It also reheats food easily.

Yes. New construction. But we have appliances that are newish and in good working order. Just want to add the double oven.

Any one! HELP!! I have a 30" electric Wolf slide in wall oven. it is conviction and has a probe, self clean too. I want to sell it, how can I find out what it's value is, and what should I ask for it???

I am having a heck of a time finding a micro/oven combo that will fit into my cabinets. My microwave on Kenmore 7904783407 has lost the use of all but a couple of buttons. The replacement part isn't available on any websites (I also need the stainless steel cover for the front).

Does anyone know of a website that shows the rough openings of all brands? I have tried going I to individual websites and haven't had luck finding anything close.

Gosh, I wish there was a "graveyard" for old appliances like there is for old cars so that we could get discontinued parts!
