Need help with exterior trim colors

The painters will be here in a few days and I'm having a hard time deciding on paint colors. The house is 3 sided brick with wood siding on the back. I need a trim and siding color to go with our orangish brick. I've considered going dark on the trim and using Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze - but would it be too dark if I also used it on the front door trim? Also, if I choose Urbane Bronze for the trim color, what color would work for the wood siding?

My second thought was to go lighter on the trim and use a color like Sherwin Williams wool skein and a darker color on the siding.

The house doesn't have shutters but I'm considering adding board & batten shutters this summer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

beautiful house!

I think a bronzy color would be perfect (not familiar with the exact color you mention).

It would make the house look "finished", like a frame on a picture, & the darker, more woodsy/natural color would make the house look more settled, more established, like it's been there for a long time.

Thanks for your help, Sylvia. I like the idea of the bronze color framing the house. I never thought of it that way.

Would you do the same bronze color on the Windows? If so, what about the wood siding on the back of the house? The brick can been seen at the bottom of the wood siding.

It really picks up the dark color in your brick; it's a bold move, but I think it will be gorgeous. very dramatic.
