70's bathroom remodel!

Floorology

This house was a 70's museum! The guest bathroom was all goldenrod; tub, toilet, sink, floor tile, wall tile, and paint! We set out to give it a complete overhaul! Porcelain tile for the floors and base, quartz countertop, had the one piece tub/shower refinished, new walls/paint, custom vanity, and brushed nickle fixtures.

Let us know your thoughts! It is our first time posting a before & after and would love feedback!

Custom vanity with lots of small compartments for all of the tiny things bathrooms accumulate! They perfectly fit a roll of toilet paper :)

We were unable to replace the can light with centered wall mounted light fixture above the vanity without rerouting plumbing and or doing major electrical work. We did think about putting hanging pendant lights on either side of the mirror, but since this will be a kids bath eventually we decided against it. Placing the tall mirror in the space really makes it feel larger and catches the light and helps to reflect it onto the users face.

Very nice! My son has a gold bathroom like this (minus the tile) and he loves it. LOL

Great transformation. I'm sure they're not in a hurry to get out of there now.

the shelving is an insired touch. Really thoughtful to bring the bit of green in, by using the towels and the "touch of nature" on the shelf. The floor plays into that simple, nature theme as well. Really only one small suggestion - frame (floating frame even - nothing to intrusive) the beautiful canvas print. It looks just a tad unfinished for this level of beautiful bath, but love the nature scene. Way to go!
