First picture is my dream home. Second picture is mine. :)

We are bringing our garage forward so that our current garage can be turned into our master. We're getting all new bronze windows and double doors in the front. The entire house will be painted. Originally I thought off-white house with a dark stained door. Now I am thinking I should paint the house a light gray because my neighbor has a stark white house. I really think it will bother me to be next to them. Can I do grey with the dark windows, bronze gutters and dark door without the house looking too dark? Maybe I just need to be sure there is a white trim around my windows? Or shutters?

*I will also be bringing the porch forward and creating bigger flower beds so it doesn't look so odd when the garage sticks out so far. Staining the driveway as well. Posts will be large and square for a more modern look on the porch. Any additional thoughts/ideas are appreciated!

I say paint it white like your dream home, get what ou want and do not settle, white is a lot different than gray..
