I would put the tv there on a console. It looks awfully high up there. If not, leave it empty.

That corner is the perfect place for the TV, on a wall-mounted swivel arm. As it is, the TV is far too high for proper viewing.

I'd move the chair over a tad on an angle similar to Susans pic, or keep at the same angle you have it, scootch over a bit and between fireplace and chair get a huge beautiful chunky basket and put tall,large fiddle leaf fig in it. Or do exactly like Susan suggests in her pic, but add the fig behind it.

I like Susan's and Willow's suggestions. The room will look more balanced and finished. OR you can place the chair in the corner but not too far, place a floor reading lamp on the left of the chair ( there is an outlet on the wall for it), add a small side table on the right of the chair. You can decorate the side table with a couple of books and a tea light holder and suddenly you will get a cozy nook instead of an empty corner.

I think the two side chairs that you have angled should be facing straight.
