Do you have chrome and brushed nickel in your bathroom?

If you used both chrome and brushed nickel in a bathroom please tell me what you have in chrome and what is satin/brushed nickel? Do you like the look or would you do something different?

thanks!

Chispa - did you mix and if so, what is chrome? I've looked at pics and googled but hoping to hear what other GWers have done. I'm thinking maybe just chrome faucets but everything else satin/brushed nickel. Thanks

Why would you want to mix them? It's fine if you have to for some reason,, like the faucet does not come in satin nickel. Otherwise I would do all chrome, or all SN.

I have a light fixture in my bath that has both chrome and and brushed nickel pieces, so mixing finishes is sometimes done intentionally.

Chrome in the shower; sn on the sinks. I'm the only one who ever noticed.

Our master bath has chrome faucets, shower, tub fittings and towel bars. Polished nickel sconces and mirrors, and satin nickel console legs.

We aren't doing a full remodel so the tub and shower plumbing isn't being changed. That is chrome. I love the shower head and afraid new ones wouldn't provide as good a shower. Lighting is already purchased and that is brushed nickel. The sink faucet, accessories, and vanity hardware will be replaced. Also a quartz top (Viatera Minuet or similar) and new sink. I thought chrome for faucets is a more durable finish. So right now if I go brushed nickel with everything new, the tub shower will still be chrome. The other thought was just plumbing in chrome and all else brushed nickel. Those are the 2 options I am thinking but open to more ideas and feedback on these. Thanks.

Plumbing in chrome and all else in SN. That would be my vote. But I do agree that no one else is going to notice the finishes. Mind you, I just had a chrome tub drain and overflow plate powdercoated because I wanted them to match my new black shower and sink fittings and I could not find these two items in black.

In my guest bath remodel all plumbing fixtures, vanity light and towel rack, etc. are chrome. My door handle is brushed nickel and floor register is brushed stainless. I don't notice or think about it.

Our bathrooms are mixed & it looks just fine. For some reason the original builder of our home chose chrome doorknobs. We are not changing them at the moment, but we have BN for everything else. The toilet lever is also chrome :) I think it looks fine. I would have picked BN doorknobs, but it will work for now. I think it adds some texture to your space when you mix things up.

Not chrome and brushed nickel, but brushed pewter.

    Overall, we have a mix.

Vanity faucet is polished nickel. Vanity pulls
and hinges are brushed pewter. Sconces to the sides of the mirror over
the vanity are oil rubbed bronze. A make-up mirror my wife keeps on the
    countertop is polished chrome.

Elsewhere, in the shower, it's polished chrome.

    One
thing I did do was paint the mirror frame the same color as the ORB
sconces to create a look-a-like grouping on the wall. If that makes sense. Photo from an old thread is here if you want a peek.

I have the polished chrome faucets, shower head, and that's it. The rest is brushed. Not my choosing but it works for me because I like my sinks to shine, and the polished chrome helps to give me that extra shine. I wipe them down inbetween weekly cleanings while I'm at the sinks. Brushed door knobs, handles, etc....are a bit forgiving with fingerprint smudges, and I don't have time to shine those daily. I've had both polished chrome (last house), and brushed nickel (this house), towel racks. They both create the same amount of dust :) I think someone else mentioned that it's okay to mix. In my opinion, I agree. It's what you think looks best and works for you.
