Totally agree. I went there looking for ranges, then went to the appliance forum. Both are not seeing the activity they once did.

You're judging the entire forum on two people? Benjes, for one, is a layout wiz in kitchens and baths.

I hate when people go to one forum and talk about the people on another forum. They were only trying to help you.

I'm really not trying to be horrible Mayflowers. And yes, I do appreciate people trying to help. I did not mention names nor was it just my post that gave me that impression. However, there is a big difference since 2010 when I was practically living over there.

Where else could this conversation take place?

I've read that forum daily since I started planning my remodel in the fall of 2011. Maybe you aren't seeing familiar names as people come and go, and you don't have the relationships there that you have here in your "hang-out", but they are still just as helpful as they were five years ago. A lot of them post on Home Decor too.

I have the opposite impression. The layout gurus on the kitchen forum blow me away with their revisions. While I'm still trying to read the blueprint, the gurus already have the layout ripped apart and flowing perfectly . Much respect for their talents.
