Sorry about the number of pictures, but this shows the step by step process for those who are interested in DYI. 1 & 2- BEFORE. 3. Drilling for the hidden hinges. 4. Removing the old back splash that overwhelmed the kitchen. 5. No hiding the mess now. 6. Remounting the cabinets about 2" higher. 7. Painted, crown & new range hood. 8. The tile back splash was done by Rockford Tile Installation. (Rockford, MI) Jake does great work & will work with the customer's idea or can offer his own designs. 9. Painted inside due to unseasonably cold weather-doors & drawers everywhere! 10. Still need to get some counter top decor (more color!) & do some paint touch up, but the kitchen is finished!
