Hello! Thank you so much for your question! Several factors came into play with this design. First, the room was very long and narrow and the window placement had already been established. Second, the client requested two separate vanities as well as requesting that neither of those vanities be at a window. So, after some thought, this was the final design - it fulfilled all of the requests, plus it gave the added bonus of a unique and interesting focal point.
