Are you kidding I live in the south. Termites, sand gnats, little creep things I can't name yet. We use a pet safe group.

who you kidding roll? i am from fl, i had treatments for everything. flying roaches - send chills just thinking about them. ants minimum 5 types. spiders, whole 9 yards

our house (1870) had been treated for termites before we bought it, we've continued the contract. they monitor, don't treat (so far).

@HF I know flying roaches, never saw those in Denver. Nasty little... creeped me out no end. Ants that carry off children and the snakes. Right so yeah we have a contract with a company for the yard and house. We treat our pets too , but we had to do that back in Denver. We had to tear the shed down it was alive with termites when we bought the place.

no, don't kill snakes! say it is not so! lizards, snakes frogs, they are the good guys! i treat my pets, have too, i get more bites then them. flying roaches go crazy when they are sprayed. keep all sinks stoppered at night, fill in any cracks or holes. when there is one in the house, spray it with foaming bath room cleaner, put your heaviest cup or glass over it, leave it there for a couple hours. ants, there is a type of chalk in the little spanish stores etc. draw a line around all entrances, they will not cross. never kill ants, they send more out. if you put a little heap of food grade diatamaceous earth along base boards etc, that also kills things, but is safe enough to eat.

@havingfun. I would never, they took him to the lagoon . I would have left him but he scared the stuff out of Mom. He was harmless just big. They relocated the little rattler too, not harmless and a little scary. We have lots of those tiny green newts, so cute they eat sand gnats so they are more than welcome. We have toads and frogs too. My toad boy friend left me though, apparently he found another. No flying roaches here, thank god. They were at the first hotel we stayed it while they were doing the house. First hotel, we got out of there, nasty place. We have ants in the yard all kinds but our house concrete and brick so far they've stayed there. I know what you mean though, the dogs don't get bites. I leave the door and look like a pox victim in half an hour. Still looking for a repellent that doesn't give me hives. Fun fun stuff.

are we talking fleas, i have a med for that, can give daily, 2 if you think you missed. if it is skeeters there is a type of geranium but only that and bug zappers or repellant work for that. if a company is doing it they are doing some heavy damage cause it does not work.

I am so glad about the snake. i would have understood killing the rattler. just so many snow birds come down and everything that moves has to be killed.

moths. ours are made of steel, capable of eating shoe lining and nesting in carpet. resistant to house-wide treatment, appear again every spring. just the sight of one can give me the twitches for several days. we need Terrible Toxin Sachets to keep them contained.

We do not need pest control since I live in a 4 season state. Our winters kill about everything except for the usual--spiders and ants. We have not had a major problem with insects since we moved into this house last year.

i meant snow birds. odd, we live with 4 seasons and i have many critters. there is a time of here year where these little flies are everywhere even in the hospital, usually take care of with wine. and moths, little ones, will chew the place up! try the diatamaceous earth atm.

The worst for bites here are the sand gnats or no see um's as they call them. Tiny little mean things that bite anything that moves. That and Volkswagon size mosquitoes. Mom is allergic to the sand gnats she gets blisters where they bite. She can use repellent though. I found one that's made of mums, I'm going to try that next time. Colorado had a little of everything, toxic spiders, deadly snakes, moths that would eat everything in sight, locust.... Fun place. So it's just trading creepy crawlies really. @having fun. I wouldn't kill them unless someone was in danger. I know what you mean though. I Colorado we call them Ski Bunnies. They come in for the season and want the culture to change around them.

Intermittently, but I use roach bombs in between that, not for roaches as I don't get them here, but for spiders, as I'm arachnophobic.

I didn't know that worked on spiders. Cool. If you aren't afraid of spiders you either are one or you're insane, just saying.

Where I live have seen every animal/pest that can give a heartache, in my yard. I just stopped leaving the door open. The only thing I had inside was sugar ants and roaches and I treated those myself.

HI -- I have heard peppermint and Vicks vapor rub is a good repellant for spiders and other bugs .

Thanks! By the way, I have a J Witness as a neighbour. They stop all the other JWs calling. Could you try moving one into your street?

No, but I do make rounds to keep the brown widow spiders numbers down. The browns will take more light than the black species, so they will make their home in the foliage of plants. I'm not happy, but so far have been lucky, whenever I grab a handful of foliage to prune and discover I have grabbed web/egg sacs/spider.

After dark, a flashlight in one hand and a paint stirring stick in the other is all that is needed. They are "out" and don't flee because it is dark, and the flashlight makes even small ones easy to see due to the shadow. A bop with the stick and they drop; the flat stick makes them easy to squash. If I make a 10-15 minute round of the immediate yard once every 3-4 weeks, the numbers stay within limits and their maturity rarely reach the egg-laying stage. Because I do it manually, the good spiders and bugs get to stay alive. Well, until the lizards and birds eat them, at least.

If you're searching for a professional, reliable, and results-driven pest control company, look no further than DOOR TO DOOR PEST CONTROL. I don’t often write reviews this long,

+1(844)651-1309 but after my experience with this company, I felt compelled to share every detail because they absolutely deserve recognition for their outstanding service. From start to finish, they exceeded all of my expectations.

    Initial Contact and Consultation

The moment I reached out to DOOR TO DOOR PEST CONTROL, I was greeted with professionalism and courtesy. The representative who answered the phone was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to listen to the issues I was dealing with. We were experiencing a growing problem with ants in the kitchen and backyard, and there had been recent sightings of cockroaches in the garage. Needless to say, we were getting increasingly frustrated and a bit concerned.

Within minutes, the representative had scheduled a free inspection for the very next day. I appreciated how quick and efficient the process was—no long wait times or complicated scheduling. It was clear they understood the urgency and treated it accordingly.

    Thorough Inspection and Honest Assessment

When the technician arrived (right on time, which I always appreciate), he introduced himself, wore a clean uniform with company branding, and had proper ID, which immediately made me feel at ease. His name was Mike, and he was incredibly thorough in his inspection.

He took the time to explain exactly what he was looking for, pointed out signs of pest activity that I hadn’t noticed myself, and answered all of my questions with patience and clarity. What really impressed me was that Mike didn’t try to upsell me on services I didn’t need. He was honest about what needed immediate attention and what could be managed with some preventative measures.

    Customized Treatment Plan

Mike developed a tailored treatment plan based on our home’s layout and the specific pests we were dealing with. He walked me through every step and explained the products they would be using, all of which were family- and pet-safe—something that was especially important to us with two young kids and a dog in the house.

The treatment was scheduled promptly, and the team showed up exactly when they said they would. They were extremely respectful of our home, wearing shoe covers indoors and cleaning up after themselves meticulously. They treated the inside, outside, garage, and even the backyard perimeter, making sure every inch was covered.

    Immediate and Long-Term Results

I noticed a significant difference within the first 48 hours. The ants were completely gone from the kitchen, and we haven't seen a single roach since the treatment. Mike followed up a week later to ensure everything was working as expected and to see if we had noticed any further activity. That level of follow-up is rare these days and really shows how much they care about their clients.

It’s now been over three months since the initial treatment, and we are still pest-free. We signed up for their quarterly maintenance plan, and honestly, it’s one of the best decisions we’ve made as homeowners. Peace of mind is priceless, and DOOR TO DOOR PEST CONTROL delivers exactly that.

    Exceptional Customer Service

Every interaction I’ve had with this company—from the initial phone call to the ongoing check-ins—has been positive and professional. Their staff is polite, well-trained, and genuinely invested in solving your problem, not just collecting a paycheck. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that takes pride in its work and stands behind its service.

I’ve also appreciated how communicative they are. We receive friendly reminders before our scheduled services, detailed reports afterward, and they always make time to answer any questions we have, no matter how small. It’s that kind of consistent, transparent communication that builds trust.

Why You Should Choose DOOR TO DOOR PEST CONTROL

There are a lot of pest control companies out there, and I’ve tried a few over the years, but none have come close to the level of service and effectiveness that DOOR TO DOOR PEST CONTROL provides. They are:

    • Prompt and reliable

    • Highly knowledgeable and skilled

    • Honest and transparent

    • Respectful of your time and property

    • Affordable, with no hidden fees

    • Customer-focused, with a genuine commitment to your satisfaction

Whether you're dealing with a serious infestation or just want to prevent one from starting, DOOR TO DOOR PEST CONTROL is the team you want on your side.

    Final Thoughts

It’s rare these days to find a company that truly checks every box when it comes to service, professionalism, and results. DOOR TO DOOR PEST CONTROL is that rare gem. I recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for pest control services. They have earned my loyalty, and I’ll continue to use their services for years to come.

    Five stars all the way!
