Anyone have the Bertazzoni Master Series 36" Stainless Steel Gas Range

I am looking for a sub 4k 36" range and this seems like a good deal, especially since you can get a hood essentially for free. Anyone have this or have thoughts on it? The reviews on AJ Madison and similar are mixed.

I've got one and I love it! Bought it with the hood (600cfm) and SS backsplash. It's been in a little over a month and we are really pleased. Everyone who sees it thinks it looks great too :)

There are plenty of threads on this forum with people's experience. I think they're much more useful than product reviews, which tend to draw out the extremes. It's a great stove at a nice price. The biggest complaint I've heard is that the fan is noisy while the oven is on. Mine isn't noisy. I wanted something with no electronic panel, and this fits the bill. My only regret is that I didn't take the plunge and get it a long time ago. It's a joy to look at and a joy to use. I'm getting used to the oven, which seems a bit hotter down low. I have two thermometers inside and they're almost always right where the dial says they should be. It seemed for a while that the oven wasn't getting above 425 or so, and Bertazzoni sent a service guy to look at it. He managed to get the thing up past 500 and told me to call again if there's any problem.

Happy to answer any other questions. Hope that helps!

Thank you so much! Very helpful. We decided to go for it.

    Which hood did you get?

Oh good! Mine was a display model at a tiny shop in a tiny town, so I took it as a package deal. The hood included was the 36" that is more powerful (600cfm) so I think they give you half off that one, or full rebate on a less powerful fan. My HVAC guy said 600cfm is appropriate and it's been great so far. I have no idea how the less expensive fan compares. It's a somewhat temporary installation in a rather quirky old kitchen, but it's just perfect to me ;)

I've even managed some decent baking. It's been a while, so I'm kind of proud. The last stove was vintage and in very poor shape, so it's all kind of new to me. I loved the lack of electronics on the old stove, which is why I really wanted to try the Berta.

Check out our pizza! Sorry. Now I'm just bragging :)

I doubt I would have gotten the backsplash, but as I said, it was a package deal. In retrospect, it's kind of perfect since it saved us having to think about it. Someday, the stove will be more built-in, but in the meantime it's a lovely and functional piece of kitchen sculpture. I've cooked on stoves that cost twice as much, and haven't been impressed. Enjoy yours!

I love mine too! I have a post under "Bertazzoni is it worth the price" and that post has a lot more details.
