What was the original soffit color? That might be best if you're returning it to pre-fire codition.

The house was a total loss. We are starting over. We are doing brick this time. A red vintage brick with black and an off white brick added in. The roof is charcoal. It has columns in the front and would also like to do them to be similar in color. Thank you for your response and advice.

If there is white in your brick, I guess I would try to do a similar white.

Im sorry I don't have one with me. If I use a cream or buff mortar to tone down the white,could the similar color be used for trim and soffit?

It is hard to say much without seeing the actual brick, but if there is an off white in the brick, I cannot see why u shouldn't use a similar color for soffits, etc.

Thanks for trying. We actually haven't got the exact brick yet. We know what we like. We have just been driving through neighborhoods .Some have a white accent and some are more the cream. Our framer wants to start the soffit and fascia and i can' t really say until we are definite on the exact brick .I think the framer will have to wait a day or two. thanks again.

@berjaymar..U can also try the Houzz site..go to browse rooms, to the left click on "exterior" and search brick homes, brick siding, etc...U can see many examples of different homes and may be able to see something u like! Best Wishes!

I like the idea of a softer cream than than the bright white. A dark charcoal or black door and shutters would look great. Also, Library Pewter from Sherwin Williams if you wish a gray/green. Keep trim around doors and windows cream for contrast.
