Do you like what you have currently? Or are you planning on another look?

I do like the color that is on here now, but wonder would another color look better? Trying to find the best look for this house! Needing ideas! Thanks!

I like it to. I would go to one of the big paint companies' website and download their color program-you provide the photo and then pick the various colors. If you see one that you like better, you may want to change it. But with the color that you have here you can go with a lot of other colors if you get bored with the white-tan colors.

I did that and there is so many choices! Made it even harder to decide! House being so neutral color about all of them worked!! wish there was an easier way!

We are leaning toward this color...called Burnt Sienna......is this a good choice? This is downloaded from the site.....

Here are both tell us which you like best....be honest....Thanks!!!! Looks like the black might bring it out of the 70's look!?

I like the dark because it seems to go with your shutter color, but I'd consider going maybe even one shade lighter. Will you always have your house painted white? The Burnt Sienna will really limit your paint color options, while the more neutral color opens them up. Since this is over 10 days since you posted, if you haven't yet picked, you could post your question on the home decorating forum and ask for advice there. Some good with color folks hang out there.

Not a fan of the black, roof would get pretty hot with that also. What you have currently looks like the correct color, it is just worn a bit. The color will pop more with new.

FYI, steel roofs are the new thing. Last a lot longer (more durable against hail and wind damage), weigh a lot less (can be installed over existing shingles), absorb a lot less heat, dont shed gunk into your gutters and yard, and are recyclable. They make steel roofs that are installed in a shingle style, and they also have stone coated steel roofs that look just like normal shingles.

    Here is
after the new shingles.....the colors aren't really showing up like in
real life.....and the photo doesnt show the architectural aspects of it
either? we do love how it turned out....photo doesnt do it justice at
all.....Now, what can we do to make it look even better? I have black
metal garage hardware to install yet, after I get the door painted
first.....any ideas what I need to tweak? Thanks!!

I'd put dark shutters on house and a dark garage door.

    Dees

Color and whats nice is just a perception of humans. I can find a single color more attractive for no apparent reason. Its not about the color of a roof, but functionality, stability and durability.

However, if I were to share my experience regarding your roof, I would recommend a darker color and to repaint the exterior of the house to match.

A darker color with a lighter shade to the exterior will add depth and design. Can simply make it stand out in your neighborhood of bland colors.
