Help layout living room dining area please.

So happy to find this site. Getting really great ideas.
This Pier 1 picture was the inspiration (we ordered the couch in the picture)
The rooms are layer out in an "l" fashion. I will paint the walls shaker beige. Maybe one wall by the large dining room window as an accent? Hot apple spice?
We were thinking couch and two chairs. Something with a red or orange accent?
We would love to hear your thoughts.

We are planning on resurfacing the hardwood floors to a more brown tone.

If this room is your inspiration right down to the pillows, etc, my vote is NO on an accent wall. Well, it would be a no vote anyway. Accent walls are great if you have a space to accent, like a niche, but I don't really see an area like that in your floor plan. I would go crazy with the colors you like, as the sofa is very nice and neutral.

The layout is tough because we have the window seat at the back of the room, a really long wall leading into the room and a little corner area to the right as you walk in. I am pretty handy though. Built ins along long wall with the sofa in between???
We want it to be a cozy sit back and relax room instead of stuffy.
