Settings for Fleck 5600SXT water softener?

I recently installed a water softener and would like someone to check if my settings are correct.

The system is a Fleck 5600SXT system with 2.0 cu ft of ResinTech CG10 10%. My hardness is 32 grains per gallon, <1ppm iron.

From the resin spec sheet it looks like one reasonably efficient usage is approx 24k grains = 8lbs salt (per cu ft).
Therefore, I want to use 16 lbs of salt per regen cycle.
I have a 0.5gpm meter, so assuming 3 lbs salt per gal, I need to flush for 11 minutes.

Do these look correct?
Additionally, I started by adding 200lbs of salt and 5gal of water to my tank (18"dia x 40"tall), but the water level is not up to the top of the salt. Should I add water, remove salt, or change a setting for this?

Thanks!
