Unusual July season continues

I rarely get rebloom on many daylilies and if they do send up scapes, the buds usually dry up and fall off due to excessive heat or I miss them because I dry up and fall out in excessive heat!!. This season I have had many rebloomers that have actually bloomed!

God's Paintbrush. This is the other side of the pic in my last post. I wanted to show it up close. The edges are better defined this year. My mother, who died several years ago, was an artist. Whenever she saw spectacular sunsets, she would aspire to capture the colors but always said it was impossible because that was God's paintbrush. As you might imagine, this lily was a sentimental purchase.
Aslan. Another lily I was not sure I would like but colors have been vibrant. Excuse the black bag. Part of my lasagna gardening- old leaves. Forgot to remove bag.
Grand Mosque with grand foot in background. This is why I appreciate you photographers so much. And a reminder to get cuter garden shoes!
Kennesaw Mountain Hayride. Still on the fence about this one.
And duh-not a daylily- but from a magnolia in my yard. I marvel at this pic every time I look at it. It does not look real. Pinky swear no photo shopping or enhancing. Just an amazing happenstance I snapped in May. With my phone!!! Sheer luck but I love it.
